PROSPECTS FOR TRADE

N.Z. Market In Europe Confidence in the future of European countries as markets for New Zealand products was expressed by Mr H. Cordery, assistant manager of the New Zealand Refrigerating Company, LtfL, in a luncheon address yesterday to members of the Canterbury-West land branch of the New Zealand Society of Accountants. He spoke on matters touching the profession of accountancy, his search for new markets, and his general impressions of countries and people obtained on a recent business trip.

Mr Cerdery said there was a growing tendency in the world for better standards of living and a consequent demand for goods New Zealand could supply. “In Germany, and other countries of Europe, the prospects for trade seem to be fantastic,” Mr Coirdery said. “Every city is being revitalised and rebuilt Nothing but good can come from the energy being generated there. "With activity at a maximum throughout the world all people must become better off," he said.
