Stefania Woytowicz, the Polish soprano, who will begin her New Zealand tour with a recital at the Christchurch Civic Theatre on July 26. She will return to appear as vocal soloist with the N.Z.B.C. Symphony Orchestra in a concert in Christchurch on August 6. In Christchurch next week she will present old English songs and works by Mozart, Brahms, Tchaikovsky and modem Polish composers. With the orchestra she will sing a Mozart concert aria and Ravel’s “Scheherazade.”
