Flights To Sydney

Air New Zealand will not run any services between Christchurch and Sydney until early September because of a comprehensive overhaul to one of the company’s DCBs at Mangere. In the meantime the Christchurch-Sydney flights will be maintained by Qantas. Air New Zealand will continue its normal ChristchurchMelbourne flights using Electras. Changes to the company’s schedules were planned some time ago but the loss of the DCS on a training flight at Mangere recently has caused the date when the regular service will be resumed to be advanced.
