A 879,000 interdenominatfonal eid fotka* home is to be set up in Remuera by the St. Elizabeth Homes Trust Board, a Roman Cathotie organisatitm recently estalfiiahed for the care and housing of senior citizens. The existing building is being altered to accommodate 19 elderly people in single bedettting rooms, with a communal lounge, dining room and sun room. A Government grant af £45,600 haa bean made. The trust board aaye that the home will be the first for old people to be sponsored by Roman Cathilcs in Auckland and te expected to be the forerunner of several of these instituttons.
