MANAGER IN PERTH
Post For Mr I. L. Bonifant (From Our Own Reporter) TIMARU, July 19. Mr I. L. Bonifant, formerly of Wakanui. Ashburton, has been appointed manager of Dalgety and New Zealand Loan, Ltd., Western Australia. He is living in Perth. Mr Bonifant, who was educated at Ashburton High School, started his business career as an office boy at the Canterbury Farmers' Co-oper-ative Association. Ltd., in Ashburton, and then joined Dalgety and Company, Ltd., and was appointed the com-! pany’s agent at Little River. In the Second World War Mr Bonifant became a brigadier. After the war, Mr Bonifant was an auctioneer for Dalgety and Company, Ltd., in Christchurch. Subsequently, he returned to the Army and became commander of headquarters, 2nd Infantry Brigade, Regular Force. When he left the New Zealand Army, he returned to Dalgety’s, and was appointed manager of the Gisborne branch. Mr Bonifant then be-
came assistant manager at Adelaide, and after an extensive trip abroad, he returned to Adelaide, attended Moondah Business College, and went to Perth as assistant manager.
