HAMILTON EXPORT
Hopes For Aircraft (N.Z. Pre»> Attociation) HAMILTON, July 19. A Hamilton firm, Air Parts (New Zealand), Ltd., may become a major exporter of light aircraft to developing nations seeking planes for aerial topdressing. This expansion into a major Industry depends on whether an Indian concern interested in buying the firm’s aircraft can make funds available from an acceptable source. The chairman of directors of the company, Mr T. P. Baron, said today that the funds were to have been available from the United States Government-sponsored Aid to India Fund, but this money could only be used for the purchases of goods made entirely in the United States. Mr Baron is now investigating the possibility of India buying the aircraft with Colombo Plan or World Bank money.
