Motor-Vehicle Assembly

The number of motor cars assembled in New Zealand ini 1964-65 was almost double the number assembled four years earlier said the Government Statistician. The cost of materials used in motor-vehicle assembly increased from £31.4m in 1963-64 to £37.6m in 1964-65, a 20 per cent rise, while the value of production rose by 15 per cent from £41.7m to £4Bm in the last year.
