MELBOURNE Industrials were steadier, but fails were slightly in excess of rises on the Melbourne Stock Exchange yesterday. Most leaders moved narrowly. B H P. featured early with a drop of 10 cents to 624 under heavy selling pressure before recovering to 630 at the close. Base metals were mostly lower.
