Speck Unfit For Court (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) CHICAGO, July 19. The authorities yesterday deferred the arraignment of Richard Speck, aged 24, accused of killing eight young nurses, after doctors said he was not fit to go to Court. Tied down in bed and heavily guarded, he is still

recovering from wounds inflicted in an apparent suicide attempt in a “skid row” hotel. The State Attorney, Mr Daniel Ward, said the arraignment might be attempted today.
