(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 17. Government revenue from taxation for the 1965-66 financial year amounted to £459.1 million, compared with £422.3 million in 1964-65 and £371.2 million in 1963-64, says the Government Statistician in the Abstract of Statistics for June. Taxation a head of mean population increased by £lO 18s during the 1965-66 fiscal year. Total taxation a head of mean population was £172 12s, compared with £l6l 14s in 1964-65, and £145 3s in 1963-64. Direct taxes from income accounted for 66 per cent of all 1965-66 taxation revenue, compared with 64.8 per cent in 1964-65 and 62.8 per cent in 1963-64.
