Review Of Mission

(N.Z. Press Associations WELLINGTON, July 18. Members of the recent manufacturers’ trfade mission to North America met in Wellington recently. They emphasised the advantages of making preparations as far in advance as possible. The leader, Mr H. W. B. Patterson, reported that advance investigation of the market on behalf of members, and direct mailing of information about the mission had been highly effective and had opened the way to effective impact selling from the moment the mission arrived in each place. However, the time between decisions to take part in the mission and its departure was very short. Extra time would enable market research to be undertaken in greater depth.
