LONDON WOOL SALES
Mainly From New Zealand
Between 8500 and 10,500 bales of New Zealand wool, predominantly scoured and slipe, are included in the 10,000 to 12,500 bale offering for the July series of London wool sales, reports the London Office of the Bank of New Zealand.
The series will begin on July 18 and will also include between 800 and 1300 bales of Australian greasy arid scoured. The 1000 bales of New Zealand greasy on offer comprise some average to good topmaking crossbreds together with a fair selection of lambs and a small quantity of second shears. The major proportion of between 3500 and 4000 bales of scoured consists of North Island second-shear crossbred, skirtings and lambs.
Most descriptions of woolly lambs in the slipe offering come from nearly all the New Zealand freezing works from December to April
