AWAY ON FRIDAY

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. The New Zealand Commonwealth Gaines team for Jamaica will begin assembling in Auckland today. However, only 56 of the 61 athletes will meet in Auckland before the team leaves for Kingston on Friday. Five athletes, I. S. Studd, A. G. Pyne. N. R. Read, W. D. Balllie and R. V. Johnson will join the team in the United States for a pre-games meeting at Los Angeles on July 23-24.
