Sir, —The comparison under the above heading by Mr Palliser, between the New Zealand and overseas automobile associations, is full of interest to every road-user. New Zealand Automobile Associations render a splendid service to the motorist Their main lack here is in not following the British A.A. service of free legal defence in court. This facility is urgently required in New Zealand, where there are twice as many traffic regulations as in Great Britain.—Yours, etc., SETH NEWELL. July 18, 1966.
