TENDERS TO BE CALLED
Steel Mill At Glenbrook (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 17. Tenders for building the main mill for the steel industry at Glenbrook would be called in a week to 10 days, Sir Woolf Fisher, chairman of New Zealand Steel, Ltd., said tonight. He had just returned from a five-week visit to the United States, Canada and England. Sir Woolf Fisher said that bids were being received for some of the major items of plant involved and it was expected that contracts would be placed for most of the plant within the next few weeks.
