Prams On Buses

Sir, —Because of Mr Southon’s premature and illadvised statement to the press on the intended debate by Christchurch members on the future carriage of prams, we expected to be attacked and condemned by an ignorant public, but not by one of our own workmates who knows, or should know, the real reason why operators are bringing this matter forward for discussion. H. E. Bush-1 King know as well as I do that the laziness or otherwise of bus-drivers has nothing to do with the issue. Why doesn’t he print the whole story or none at all?—Yours, NORMAN GRAY. July 16, 1966.
