A GREAT PRODUCER.—With a yield of 1015lb of butterfat in 300 days at three years of age, this pedigree Jersey cow, Dorset Glen Supreme Gem, bred by T, W. Bennett, of Te Awamutu, and now owned by Alistair Bennett, has established an Australasian record for a Jersey of her age, and becomes the first New Zealand three-year-old heifer of any breed to break the 1000lb of fat barrier.
