The appointee will be responsible under the National Secretary for a wide variety of adult education programmes, experimental projects and research and pilot studies at the national level. Applicants should possess a university honours degree. Experience and qualifications in adult education or sociology or community studies will be an advantage. Conditions of appointment will be equivalent to a lecturer or junior lecturer at a New Zealand university, and starting salary will be fixed within the grade of junior lecturer (£N.Z.IOO9—£N.Z.I2OO) or lecturer (£N.Z.I3OO—£N.Z.2OOO) according to experience and qualifications.
