W. Stephenson Issue Closing
Vi.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 15. Subscriptions and reservations received in Wright Stephenson’s issue of prior lien debenture stock were now approaching £l.sm after only three weeks on the market and directors had decided to close the issue at 5 p.m. on Monday, the chairman (Mr C. U. Plimmer) said today. “The directors are very gratified with the response from investors, especially in view of the tight monetary conditions prevailing at the present time,” Mr Plimmer said.
