British Also Competing

(N.Z.P. A. -Reuter— Copyright) NEW YORK. Sixteen British track and field stars will join a team of Australians and New Zealanders in an athletics meeting against the United States at Los Angeles on July 23 and 24, the United States Amateur Athletic Union announced. This meeting replaces the one between Russia and the United States which was cancelled by the Russians in protest against American Vietnam policy. Earlier, British officials turned down the invitation because of transport difficulties, but satisfactory arrangements have now been made.
