SKILIFT BREAKS

Two Women Killed (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) NEW YORK, July 15. Part of a ski lift broke at a ski resort near Salt Lake City, Utah, yesterday, killing two women and seriously injuring at least six young girls as they fell 60ft to the rocks below. In addition to those seriously injured several other girls required treatment. One of the victims was killed instantly. The other died two hours after the accident in spite of efforts by five doctors to save her life. The ski area is located in colourful North Provo canyon, a popular holiday spot 20 miles south of Salt Lake City.
