LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
(1) Letters sent to the Editor for printing should preferably be typed, otherwise they must be written in Ink on one side of the paper only. A legible signature and full address are required whether these are to be published or not. A P O box number is not a sufficient address. (2) Writers must say clearly whether or not their letters are being or have been sent to other papers. (3) The Editor cannot return or Keep any letter which for any reason is unsuitable for printing; nor can he acknowledge unsuitable letters although this will be done where it seems to be needful, or enter into any correspondence. (4) Letters must not be of more than 150 words. D. Vicars.—See rules above. S. L. O'Brien.—The broadcast will start at 4.25 p.m. Ex-Caretaker.—No space to reopen that correspondence. R. A. Sinclair.—Leave it to the officials to argue. A. B. Cedarlan.—The personalities are irrelevant and unacceptable. I.S.T.—The matter has been frequently, indeed constantly, publicised. Discussion at the moment would be painful. M. Knight and One of the Audience.—An oversight which we hope to repair next time. A. R. Beckwith.—Drinking habits In Biblical times are a matter of doubt. They are also irrelevant. Ex-Cash Bikie.—The Interested bodies all have access to our news columns. Discussion here would not be useful. M.M.—You should write to the Registrar, Probate Registry, Supreme Court, Somerset House, The Strand, London, W.C.2. There are sub-regis-tries in various parts of the country and charges might vary.
