Coupling By Computer
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) _ LONDON, July 14. A non-profitmaking company, designed to pair off likely marriage partners with the aid of a computer, will be registered this week, “The Times” reported today. The company will be known as P.A.C.T. (for Phychological Assessment, of Compatible Traits). It is hoped to register P.A.C.T. as a charity. People wishing to use the new service—as an alternative to marriage bureaux will be sent a form with 207 questions designed to “plumb the personality."
