On Way To Ireland
(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) SYDNEY, July 13. A dark-eyed New Zealand beauty, Laraine Stoilery, aged 18, said a brief "hello” to Sydney today. She arrived by plane from her home city of Auckland in time to have only a peek around the airport before flying to Ireland where she will take part in the “Rose of Tralee” contest. Tralee, in the county of Kerry, has a population of 12,000, but the international “Rose” contest held there since 1958 is expected this year to attract 90,000 tourists. Miss Stoilery is travelling with 54 members of the Combined Irish Societies of New Zealand, who will spend seven weeks in Ireland. The party will have a audience with the Pope in Rome. ,
