CAUGHT IN OWN TRAP

Suspicious Wife <N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) PARIS, July 12. Mrs Anne-Marie Leone was tipped off by a neighbour that her husband entertained other women in their suburban home while she was away on business trips, United Press International reported. So she announced she was going away for a few days, but instead rented a hotel room nearby. At 6 a.m. the next morning she telephoned the police. “Quickly, there’s a burglar in my house.” she said, and hurried to her home in time to meet them. The officers surrounded the house, burst in and found Mrs Leone’s husband with another woman. "There's the proof of his adulterv,” Mrs Leone shouted. But the police took a different view. "Is that what you brought us here for?” asked a police sergeant. “You’re under arrest for giving false information to the police. 1 don’t care about these other things.” A court yesterday dismissed the charges against Mrs Leone, but the judge her not to let her man tai affairs interfere with her judgment again.
