University Reform
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) PEKING, July 13. The Chinese press indicated today that coming sweeping reforms of the education system would include cuts in the length of university courses on humanities and the arts. Selection of students for these courses would be based on political reliability. A graduation examination from middle schools —on which enrolment for university has been based in the past—would be abolished.
