Protest On Car Price “Racket”

A 471-word telegram protesting at car-price “rackets” and asking that something be done to stop them was sent today by a Wellington businessman and mayoral candidate, Mr A. S. Goldsmith, to all members of Parliament and the Trade Practices Division. The 81 telegrams cost him nearly £l5O.
