Decree Nisi Rescinded
I The unusual course of I rescinding a decree nisi in I divorce was taken by Mr 'Justice Macarthur in the [Supreme Court yesterday, on the plea of the SolicitorGeneral, represented by Mr N. W. Williamson. The decree rescinded was one granted by Mr Justice Wilson on October 6, 1965, to Thelma Joy Patricia Randolf against her husband, Carl i Eugene Randolf, a former j Christchurch City Council 'traffic officer, on the ground of his adultery in 1964 with a girl boarder in his houseI hold. j The reason for the Solicli tor-General’s plea for the ■rescission of the divorce was not stated. Mrs Randolf was ordered to pay the Solicitor-General 25 guineas costs. Decree Granted In an undefended petition for divorce heard by his Honour, Mary Jones (Mr G. W. Rountree) was granted a decree nisi against her husband, John Lonsdale Jones, a trade-union secretary (Mr A. )p. C.
