CRASHED DC8 WRECKAGE

The wreckage of the Air New Zealand DCB that crashed on take-off eight days ago was removed from the view of the travelling public at Auckland Airport today. Three heavy cranes and teams of Air New Zealand engineering staff spent all day transporting the wreckage to the airline’s hangar area. ] The airline’s service tn Los Angeles will terminate at Honolulu tomorrow because the strike in the United States is affecting the American airline that carries out Air New Zealand’s servicing in Los Angeles.
