Two Hurt On Roads
A pedestrian. Mr J. H. Martin, of 69 Ferry road suffered head and hip injuries when he was hit by a car at the intersection of Moorhouse avenue and Barbadoes street about 7.40 a.m. on Monday. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital. A cyclist, Mr W. Paterson, of 10 Dunarnon street, suffered head and hand injuries in a collision with a van outside 211 Woodham road at 4451 p.m. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital.
