(N.Z. Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH. Wellington proved too good for Palmerston North and won its second consecutive title when the North Island men’s indoor basketball championships ended at Hawera on Saturday night. Wellington won the final, 70-53. Other results on the last day were:—Rotorua 78, Hawera 50: Palmerston North 50, Auckland A 35: Wellington 72, Wanganui 35; Hamilton 59, Auckland B 50; Auckland A 45, Hawke’s Bay 40, Hawera 70. Hawke's Bay 69.
