To Fight Santos.— The Philippines light-weight boxer, Jesse Del Valle, will fight the New Zealand champion, Manoel Santos, in Wellington on July 27. Def Valle was to have fought Santos last month, but could not get a permit to leave his country in time.
Lion Examined.— The British Lion flanker, G. Prothero, will rejoin his teammates in Dunedin within the next few days after medical treatment. An ear specialist examined Prothero yesterday and said there was nothing seriously wrong.
