HOTEL ASSN. OFFICERS
Mr A. F. C. McGregor was elected for his eleventh term as president of the Canterbury Hotel Association at the association’s annual meeting. Mr McGregor was first elected to the Canterbury Hotel Association, then known as the Canterbury Licensed Victuallers’ Association, in 1954 and in 1956 succeeded Mr J. M. MacKenzie as president. Other officers elected were: Vice-presidents, Messrs T. C. Watson, A. Scott; executive (country), Messrs W. J. Chambers, D. M, Corbett, W. H. Haile, R. V. Kearney, R. A. Miller, W. C. Smart, R. V. E. Waldron, G. A. Wright; (town), Messrs A. G. Bailey, A. Ballantyne, B. W. Lawrence, J. V. McCormack, R. H. Rattray, R. Rothwell, C. Steel, C. J. Taylor.
