Investments with the Totalisator Agency Board on Saturday’s meetings amounted to £460,288, made up of win-and-place bets of £195,902 10s and £264,385 10s on doubles, compared with £402,666 5s on the corresponding day last year when two meetings were held. Details:— AVONDALE On-course: £116,566, down £6790 ss. Off-course: £146,554 10s, down £721. TRENTHAM On-course: £199,762 10s, down £48,478. Off-course: £254,011, down £1379 15s. WASHDYKE On-course: £24,363, down £3019. Off-course: £59,722 10s, down £37,067 ss.
