Mrs Holmes is against Australia and New Zealand fighting in Vietnam. “I think we are handing all of Asia on a platter to the Communists. We and the Americans should leave the Vietnamese to sort out their own problems. “There is great opposition among Australians to the war. Why should we fight in Vietnam? The Vietnamese are no threat to us ”
