NITRATE POISONING.—A herd of about 150 cattle on a butterfat dairy farm in the Clarkville-Ohoka area was affected by what is believed to be poisoning associated with high nitrate levels in the greenfeed oats they were feeding last week-end. Many of the cows subsequently had difficulty in getting to their feet and this cow was still down when photographed early this week.
