NZ REPRESENTATIVE OF THE CHERRY MARSHALL MODEL SCHOOL, MAYFAIR, LONDON. B* fl > Zq ■ 1 Mrs Marjorie Baird Mrs Hillary Ussher INTRODUCES MRS HILLART USSHER AS ASSISTING PRINCIPAL TO MRS MARJORIE BAIRD IN HER SCHOOL OF DEPORTMENT AND MODELLING. Mrs Ussher is an experienced mannequin and has done a considerable amount of fashion modelling and photographic work in Scotland. She has her Diploma in fashion, make-up, and general deportment. DEPORTMENT CLASSES:—GirIs are taught to move more elegantly and with superb assurance by removing common postural faults such as round shoulders, awkward limb movements, etc. (Almost all faults of the figure unless caused by actual deformity can be corrected.) Make up, skin care, hairstyling, etiquette and charm are taught in these classes. MODELLING CLASSES:—Mrs Baird and Mrs Ussher advise girls whether they would be suitable for training in photographic, TV, and modelling work, and discuss each pupil’s special problems. They also explain what girls should do at interviews for jobs, how they should dress, and the standards they should maintain. For these reasons the School is widely recommended by teachers, magazine editors, and by girls who have taken its training and who are now seen in magazines, fashion shows and on television, not only in New Zealand but abroad. Classes are held throughout the year. For a friendly and helpful interview with the principals, PLEASE RING 558-688, DAY AND EVENING, or 519-364, EVENINGS ONLY, for an appointment.
