Short Of Clothes
(N.Z. Press Association! WELLINGTON, July 8. An Upper Hutt couple working for Volunteer Service Abroad at Kampong New Zealand, a redevelopment village in Malaysia, said in a letter home recently that children there were so short of clothes that those who went to school in the mornings would pass the clothes over to those who attended in the afternoon.
As a result well-wish-ers in Upper Hutt opened a collecting centre whieh has been gathering money and materials to help clothe the children.
