This 18 months course is open to students of 16J years of age or over, and affords an opportunity to those wishing to make a worthwhile career of nursing with the emphasis on the “practical" side. If you are interested in nursing as a career, and also in giving a worthwhile service to the community, think seriously about joining this class. Community nurses commence at £9 12s 7d per week (plus overtime and penal time) rising by annual increments. If over 19 vears of age higher commencing rates are paid.
