Report After Trade Talks LV.Z.P..4. -Reuter—Copyright i SYDNEY, June 28. Matters vital to Australia’s economy were balancing on a razor’s edge, the Acting Prime Minister (Mr John McEwen) said on his return today from a month of trade talks in Europe. He said that an “alarming” trade situation could develop for Australia if Kennedy Round negotiations collapsed and if Britain joined the Common Market without adequate safeguards for the Commonwealth. But he declined at his hourlong press conference at Sydney Airport to state or even guess the chances of that double upset occurring.
