STUDENTS’ WORK DAY

Canterbury University students will hold a work day on Saturday, July 16. to raise money for the World University Service, which works for the advancement of university staff and students.

Christchurch people will be asked to provide work for. the students. The work day will be part of World University Service week, from July 10 to July 16. Activities planned include an art exhibition arranged by students of the School of Fine Arts, concerts by the university jazz and folk music clubs, a charity film at the Berkeley cinema, and a lunch-time seminar at the university on the World University Service. This year, students are particularly interested in helping Nepalese students to raise money for a students’ hostel at Tribhuvan University.
