TRADE SKILL AWARD

Wigram Mechanic’s Success

An airman at the Royal New Zealand Air Force Station, Wigram, has been awarded an Olympia Trust Fund prize, valued at £25, by the Retail Motor Trade Association for his trade proficiency. He is Leading Aircraftsman J, G. Nelson, aged 27. of the motor transport section. In November, 1964, he passed the practical and theory parts of the motor trades certificate examination with an over-all score of 84 per cent, and was top for New Zealand. The same month be passed the School Certificate examination and the R.N.Z.A.F. education certificate examination. Last November he passed the advanced trade certificate examination in motor mechanics and was top for Canterbury.
