New Moon Happening
j Poets ranging from Robert ■Graves to Spike Milligan held a happening in the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday and called it “The Greater-Than-London Fire—New Moon Carnival of Poetry in the Round.” It began as the new moon rose. Robert Graves spoke about drugs, Vanessa Redgrave appeared in a green Castro-style battledress and sang pro-Castro songs, and Milligan gave a turn. It was all very frank and all very Inoisey, and at one stage the crowd nearly got out of ' control.
