Family Dies In Crash

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright.) HYANNIS (Massachusetts), June 27. A family of six died when a single-engine plane crashed while attempting to land at Barnstable airport near here, A.A.P.-Reuter reported. The dead were identified as an optometrist, Dr. Arthur Sugino, aged 41, his • wife, Ruth, aged 46, and their four children, including an 18-year-old girl and a boy of 13. Three of the dead were killed instantly and the others were dead on arrival at hospital. Authorities said the singleengine Beechcraft Bonanza nosed over and plummeted into dense woods after stalling during a landing approach. Dr. Sugino had made one previous approach but was waved off by the airport control tower because his air speed was too slow, a tower spokesman said.
