EXPERIENCE: At least five years’ experience in field geology, preferably with emphasis on economic geology. LOCATION: Successful applicants will be expected to work anywhere in Australia. DUTIES: General geological field duties in connection with Company’s exploration programme. Positions are available with parties carrying out regional exploration of large areas and with parties making detailed assessments of known mineralised areas. SALARY: Initial salary will be determined on the basis of experience and qualifications from a minimum in the order of 5000 dollars p.a. Provision is made for extra payments whilst in the field. GENERAL CONDITIONS: Financial assistance with travel and removal where an inter-state move is involved. The company's attitude to wares sickness is liberal superannuation and free temporary life insurance are provided after short qualifiying period, also financial assistance where heavy medical expenses are encountered. Salaries are reviewed annually. FEMALE GEOLOGIST QUALIFICATIONS: Degree or Diploma with geology as major subject. EXPERIENCE: Previous experience desirable, but not essential. LOCATION: Head Office Melbourne. DUTIES: Successful applicant will be required to assist senior exploration personnel in assessing information received from the Company's explora* tion parties. Some literature research will also be involved. SALARY: Initial salary will be determined on basis of axperienco and qualifications. GENERAL CONDITIONS: Air conditioned dffice.
