Nelson. —South-westerlies becoming fresh at times; rain or snow showers about the ranges; otherwise partly cloudy and becoming colder with a few scattered showers; frosts in sheltered places. ■ Kaikoura coast and Canterbury.—South-west-erlies becoming fresh to strong at times in exposed places; changeable and cold, with some showery periods; snow to low levels.
