Woolston I Beaten Woolston II and Post Office I were the most impressive teams in the eleventh round of the Inter-dub btttiards competition. Woolston's trio. M. Maffey, T. Mintrom and B. Martin, displayed fine form to beat the Woolston number one combination. D. Ha'ium, K. Murphy and R. Franks and in so doing set Woolston I an almost Impossible task to win the competition. Post Office I moved Into a two-point lead by convincingly outplaying R.S.A., 3-0. E. Simons retained his good form in his encounter with R. O’Callaghan, and an excellent break of 53 proved to be the winning margin. T. Mintrom scored a well compiled break of 49. and N. Thomas (New Brighton W.M.C.) amassed a break of 39.
