Denmark would want to go into the Common Market “not later than Britain—which means at the same time,” said the New Zealand Minister of Overseas Trade (Mr Marshall) in London on Saturday. Mr Marshall visited Copenhagen at the invitation of the Danish Government. The Danes understood New Zealand’s position and agreed that there was no other substantial market for New Zealand's butter, outside of Britain, said Mr Marshall. “They would support any special arrangement for New Zealand in an enlarged Common Market which included both Britain and Denmark,” he said.
