For children of seven or eight years and over who like horses, the ideal gift would be THE PONY CLUB ANNUAL, edited by Genevieve Murphy (Max Parrish, 112 pp.) There are articles, anecdotes and stories by members of the Pony Club and by or about such well known riders as Pat Smythe, there are literally scores of photographs both attractive and instructive, and the whole is seasoned by four vintage pony cartoons by Thelwell.
