Mr L. A. Alexander has been reappointed to the National Hydatids Council for three years on the nomination of the Counties’ Association. Mr H. Beattie, a Christchurch public accountant, has been elected vice-president of the Canterbury division of the I New Zealand Institute of Management to fill the vacancy left by the resignation of Mr R. A. Simmonds as president and the promotion of the vice-president, Mr 0. J. Drennan, to president. Mr Beattie has served on the i division's council since 1964 and is chairman of the finance i committee.
